Free infographic: discover the best 5G providers in the US
To mark the launch of its ‘State of the Mobile Union’ report, RootMetrics has produced an infographic to illustrate how mobile network operators are doing in the US.
To coincide with the launch of its semi-annual ‘State of the Mobile Union’ report, RootMetrics has released an infographic that provides a high-level look at the results from the report for the second half of 2020.
To compile the report, RootMetrics surveys usage across the US, within all 50 states, and across the country's 125 most populated metropolitan markets.
RootMetrics said that: “Verizon remained the carrier to beat, sweeping the US RootScore Awards, bringing home by far the most state and metro area awards, and delivering excellent speeds, outstanding reliability, and an expanded 5G footprint in major cities."
The bottom line
According to RootMetrics, AT&T delivered strong results in general, sharing the US Text RootScore Award, and earning the second-highest tally of State and Metro Area RootScore Awards. In comparison, T-Mobile showed “good results in many major metropolitan markets”, but its performances at the national and state levels weren’t as strong as those of either AT&T or Verizon.
